Chlorophyll Plastic

I am about to finish my master at Politecnico di Milano in the PSSD course (Product Service System Design). Through my path I participate in a double degree program (MEDes) which allowed me to study at The Glasgow School of Arts (service design) and at ENSCI les ateliers, Paris (Création Industrielle).

Material Narrative
Grass is a natural resource which can be found almost everywhere in urban spaces. Chlorophyll in particular is the symbol of the capacity of plants of turning sunlight into matter, I find this extremely interesting and I think design can give more value to it. As an instance we could make bioplastics out it exploiting the cellulose for the structure and the pigment as color reference.
